Bee Keeping  Saturday 24th June

Led by Trevor Smart. Learn more about this fascinating hobby and the lifecycle of the species. How do honey bees differ from hornets and hoverflies? Why are bees so important to the countryside? An opportunity to get up close to these amazing insects with a real enthusiast!

Led by Bert Reid. Worcestershire has wonderful meadows but field margins and arable weeds also provide a wealth of botanical interest. Let Bert guide you through the identification process and the ways in which you can contribute toward the Biological Records Office data collection.

Bats & Moths Saturday 12th August

Led by Fergus Henderson. A rare opportunity to study and trap moths in the field, identify them and learn more about these underrated insects. As part of the session Fergus will discuss moth predators i.e. bats and their lifecycle, feeding habits and identification.
