Red-Eyed Damselfly Erythromma najas

Abdominal segments 9 & 10 both blue, no blue on segment 8. Wings extend further down abdomen. Picture Mike Averill.

Small Red-eyed Danselfly Erythomma viridulum

Abdominal segment 10 not blue, sides of segment 8 blue, shorter wings.
